Cookie Policy

Activate Press sets no cookies for readers of the public website. This page lists the browser storage the site uses and why it is needed.

Activate Press does not set cookies for readers of the public website, and it does not load third-party scripts that would set them.

Storage we do use

  • Session storage (not a cookie): after you read an article for a few seconds, your browser stores a note for that tab that the view was counted, so it is not counted twice. It is deleted when you close the tab.
  • Editor sign-in cookies: people who log in to manage the site receive the standard WordPress authentication cookies. Readers never log in.

Third parties

If you click a share button, the network you choose (for example Facebook, X, Telegram or LinkedIn) opens in a new tab and its own cookie policy applies there.

More detail is in our Privacy Policy.
